Researchers Terms of Service

(For Brands, Companies, Organizations & Individual Researchers)

These Researchers Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern your ("Researcher") access and use of Nopser's platform, services, tools, and dashboard for posting surveys, studies, and feedback projects ("Research Projects") and paying for participant responses.

"Nopser", "Company", "we", "our", or "us" refers to:

By creating a Researcher account or posting a Research Project, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Definitions

• Researcher – Any individual, brand, company, organization posting surveys or research projects on Nopser.
• Participants – Users who complete surveys and earn rewards.
• Project Budget – Total amount payable by Researcher to fund participant rewards.
• Commission – Service fee charged by Nopser for hosting and delivering Research Projects.
• Dashboard – Nopser's web interface used by Researchers to post and manage studies.
• Responses – Completed survey entries submitted by Participants.

2. Eligibility to Use Researcher Services

To use Nopser as a Researcher, you must:

✔ Be at least 18 years old

✔ Be an Indian citizen/entity OR legally permitted to conduct research in India

✔ Provide accurate business details

✔ Not use Nopser for illegal, misleading, or harmful research activities

Nopser may request additional documents (business proof, GST details, identity verification) if required.

3. Nature of Service

Nopser provides:

• A platform for Researchers to publish surveys/studies
• Tools to collect feedback from participants
• Response delivery through the dashboard
• Participant reward distribution on behalf of the Researcher
• Refunds for unfulfilled or cancelled research projects

Nopser is not responsible for research quality, result interpretation, or business decisions taken based on responses.

4. Posting Research Projects

Researchers may publish research projects by:

1. Creating a study form
2. Defining participant requirements
3. Setting reward amount per participant
4. Setting total number of participants
5. Funding the project (Budget + Commission)

All submitted Projects must comply with:

• Indian laws
• Data protection and privacy rules
• Ethical research practices
• Nopser's internal content guidelines

Nopser may reject or remove Projects that violate policies.

5. Payments & Commission

5.1 Upfront Payment Requirement

Researchers must pay the full Project Budget + Nopser Commission in advance using Razorpay.

5.2 Commission Policy

• Default: 3% of total budget
• GST as applicable (currently 18%)
• Commission may increase/decrease anytime; applicable commission will be displayed at the time of project creation.

5.3 Accepted Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay:

✔ UPI
✔ Net Banking
✔ Credit/Debit Cards
✔ Wallets
✔ Corporate Payments

Nopser does not store card/UPI details.

6. Delivery of Responses

Nopser will:

• Display responses (completed surveys) to the Researcher
• Allow download/export where applicable
• Grant Researcher full access to response data for commercial or internal use

Nopser does not guarantee:

• A specific quality of responses
• Any minimum accuracy
• That participants match unverified background attributes

All responses are provided as submitted by participants.

7. Refund & Cancellation

7.1 When Refunds Are Provided

Refund is provided when:

• Project fails to receive full required responses
• Researcher cancels the study before completion
• Nopser cancels the project for reasons beyond the Researcher's control

Refund amount:

Unutilized Budget Amount = Total Budget – Amount Spent on Delivered Responses

(Commission is typically non-refundable, unless cancellation is caused by Nopser.)

7.2 Refund Timeline

Refunds are initiated within 5–7 working days to the same payment source used for original payment.

7.3 When Refunds Are Not Provided

No refund will be issued if:

• Responses have already been delivered
• Researcher violates policies or posts disallowed content
• Project is completed as per agreed terms
• Misuse, manipulation, or unauthorized activity is detected

8. Researcher Responsibilities

Researchers must ensure:

✔ Research content is legal
✔ No misleading, harmful, abusive, or unethical questions
✔ No request for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or sensitive personal IDs
✔ No promotion, political propaganda, or illegal solicitation
✔ No discrimination, hate-based, or adult content

Researchers are solely responsible for content posted.

9. Data Usage & Ownership

• Participants' responses are shared with the Researcher for project purposes.
• Nopser retains rights to use anonymized and aggregated data for analytics & platform improvement.
• Researcher may use collected data for any legitimate business purpose.
• Researcher must not attempt to identify users personally unless explicitly allowed by consent fields.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

Nopser may suspend or terminate Researcher accounts if:

• Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
• Payments are disputed or reversed
• Harmful or illegal Projects are posted
• Multiple policy violations occur

Upon termination, unused wallet/budget amounts (after deductions) will be refunded as applicable.

11. Limitation of Liability

Nopser is not liable for:

• Business or financial losses from your research outcomes
• Errors, inaccuracies, or dishonesty in participant responses
• Platform downtime or payment gateway outages
• Third-party issues or service delays

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for a specific Project.

12. Change in Terms

Nopser may update these Terms anytime.

Researchers will be notified via:

• Email
• Dashboard notifications
• Website updates

Continued use of services means acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in:

Noida, Uttar Pradesh
