Payout & Payment Flow Policy

This Payout & Payment Flow Policy ("Policy") describes how payments, commissions, wallet credits, withdrawals and settlements are processed on Nopser, a research-participation platform owned and operated in India ("Company", "We", "Nopser").
This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions, which all users and researchers agree to while using the platform.
1. Overview of Payment Model
Nopser operates as a research participation marketplace. Two types of users interact on the platform:
1. Researchers/Clients ("Researchers")
Researchers post surveys, studies or research activities ("Studies") on Nopser and compensate participants for completing them.
2. Participants ("Users")
Users complete eligible Studies and earn rewards credited to their Nopser Wallet.
Nopser facilitates:
- Collection of study budget from Researchers
- Crediting rewards to Users after task approval
- Processing withdrawals to Users' UPI IDs or Bank Accounts
2. How Researchers Pay Nopser
1. Researchers set:
- Number of participants required
- Reward per participant
- Study validity period
2. Nopser calculates:
- Total Study Budget
- Nopser Commission (usually ~3%, may vary per study type/time sensitivity)
3. Researchers must pay the Total Budget + Commission upfront using:
- Razorpay Payment Gateway (Card/UPI/Netbanking/Wallets)
4. Payments made by Researchers are securely processed by Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant).
5. Funds are held by Nopser until:
- Study is completed, or
- Study expires, or
- Study is cancelled
3. Escrow & Fund Handling
Nopser maintains an escrow-like operational flow:
• User rewards are not paid instantly when survey is attempted.
They are credited only after the task is reviewed and approved, either by:
- Researcher (for client-posted studies)
- Nopser Team (for Nopser-posted surveys)
• Until approval, corresponding funds remain reserved.
If a study fails to reach required responses, Nopser refunds unused funds to the Researcher according to our Refund Policy.
4. User Wallet Rewards
1. Once a submission is approved:
- Corresponding reward amount is credited to the User's Nopser Wallet.
2. Wallet balance is not interest-bearing and is not transferable to another user.
3. Wallet balance can only be withdrawn to:
- A valid UPI ID, or
- A valid Bank Account
5. Minimum Withdrawal Amount
- Users can place a withdrawal request once their wallet reaches ₹50 or more.
- Withdrawal requests below ₹50 will not be processed.
6. Payout Processing Time
- Withdrawal requests are typically processed within 2–3 working days after submission.
- Processing time may vary due to:
- Bank/UPI downtime
- Payment gateway delays
- Technical issues
Nopser will make the best effort to process payouts as quickly as possible.
7. Valid Payout Methods
Users can withdraw wallet balance to:
- UPI ID (BHIM/PhonePe/Google Pay/Paytm etc.)
- Bank Account (via standard bank transfer)
Nopser does not charge any withdrawal fee.
8. Payout Rejection & Delay Conditions
Payout may be delayed or rejected if:
(A) Account or Activity Issues
- Multiple accounts detected
- Fraudulent or suspicious behaviour
- Identity mismatch
- Violation of Terms & Conditions
In such cases:
- Payout will be blocked,
- Wallet may be frozen,
- Account may be suspended or terminated.
(B) Incorrect Payment Details
- Invalid UPI ID
- Closed/inactive bank account
- UPI handle not accepting transfers
In such cases:
- The payout amount will be refunded to the user's Wallet
- User must update correct details and re-submit withdrawal request
(C) System or Infrastructure Issues
- Payment gateway outage (Razorpay/Bank)
- UPI network downtime
- Bank holidays
- Technical errors
Nopser will notify users in case of significant delays.
9. Approval of Tasks Before Payout
Task approval determines wallet credit:
(1) Studies Posted by Researchers
- Researchers review and approve applications from their dashboard.
- After approval → reward is credited to User's wallet.
(2) Studies Posted by Nopser
- Nopser team manually reviews and approves submissions.
- Approval is not automatic and may take time depending on queues and validation requirements.
Nopser reserves the right to re-verify submissions at any time.
10. Refunds to Researchers
If a study does not receive required responses or is cancelled before completion:
- Remaining unused balance (after commission where applicable) will be refunded to the Researcher.

11. No Charges for User Payouts
- Nopser does not deduct any fee from User withdrawal requests.
- Full wallet amount (subject to minimum ₹50 threshold) is transferred to the selected payout method.
12. Compliance & Security
- All payments made via Razorpay are processed under RBI regulations and PCI-DSS standards.
- Nopser does not store card/UPI credentials.
- All payment data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS.

14. Amendments
Nopser may update this Policy to comply with legal, security or payment-gateway requirements. Updated versions will be posted with a new "Last Updated" date.
